Tony Note - We are a leader in robot guidance using vision. Use advance techine for inspections, solve problems, experienced on the optical side, lensing, lighting, We validate that a job is a candidate for vision prior to starting on it. Hardware, lens, lighting, enclosures, list manaufactuerers, we have done 3d vision. We have done 2d line tracking with vision linear and rotary. Structured lighting. Measure, patterns, color, Reccomend alternatives to vision if vision is not a good candidate. BArcode 2D, load external system with data/results, serialize, batch tracking.

Dana Notes - What is Machine Vision using a camera and computer to extract information from what can be seen in a picture. Can be used for guidance, quality, RZ is experienced with a variety of vision systems.

Bryant Notes - Guidence, Identification, Quality, color verification, barcode reading. DVT, Cognex, Keyence irVision Application Process Design, qualification of projects, not all are good candidates, VB based vision solutions, selection of hardware including cameras, lights, lens selection, lighting is critical for success, Integrate vision to robots or PLC, communicate to system via Ethernet or serial, provide hardware including stands, light fixtures, enclosures, pattern matching, seam tracking, line scan cameras.

 

Kyle Notes - We can do it. Feasibility - all aps are not all good vision apps. Vision is affected by more than light and environment. Speed - How Fast (More than location, recognition, quality, ,) Custom lighting, fixturing, enclosures, back shading, lighting, knowledgable, calculatios of speed for dynamic picking.image smear, experienced with line tracking, multiple stayles, dynamically changing style to style during automatic production, serial-ethernet-discrete IO PC Based Cognex and matrox, smart camera Cognex Insight DVT. Robot based irVision, Keyence,DVT-Part ID, Cognex-seam validation, location, seam inspeciton. We have laser experience, abscense presence guaging. edge finding, stand off heights, pick location rough.

Garth Notes - Can be either a good idea or a not so good idea depends on the paticulars of a systen, We are good at complex vision systems. HAve picture of complex part, screen shot green and then screen shot with some red. Garth thinks we should do more vision. the use of vision is growing factories. Some alternatives to vision including simple systems and lasers for given situations, we want to pick the correct hardware for the given situation. Lighting is very important/critical.
