CONTROLS ENGINEER
RZ Automation has an opening for a senior controls engineer. The preferred applicant will have B.S./M.S. degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology or computer science. Five years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) / Human Machine Interface (HMI) programming, and control systems design.
The selected applicant will be independent, flexible and a self-starter and have the ability to prioritize work. They will be able to manage multiple projects and timelines. Good written and oral interpersonal communication skills are required. Ability to share information effectively with others as a member of a team. Travel is required for this position.
RZ is looking for an engineer with in-depth knowledge of Allen Bradley hardware and software. They will have application experience designing and creating control systems. RZ is looking for a control engineer experienced with the following hardware and software.
- ControlLogix, SLC, MicroLogix, PLC5 controlers,
- RS View, Factory Talk
- RS Logix 5000, 500, 5
- RS Linx
- Allen Bradley Hardware
- Ethernet IO, Remote I/O, Profibus
- Siemens, Mitsubishi and Omron experience will be considered as well.
- Experience with robotics, Fanuc experience preferred
- Experience with machine vision, Cognex experience preferred
